Explore the edge of the desert in the South
Okanagan and view ancient pictographs, spectacular lake views
and the famous Eagles (McIntyre) Bluff. We’ll take you
on a guided bike tour of the Chute Lake portion of the Trans-Canada
Trail on the way to Hillside Estate Winery to sample some
of the finest wine made in the Okanagan Valley. You’ll
walk the deck of the famous sternwheeler the SS Sicamous and
spend the night on Gods Mountain where you can view Big Horn
Sheep in their natural habitat. You’ll explore by bike
20 km of backroads that include the old Hudsons Bay Company
Fur Brigade Trail. Taste the nector of the Gods while you
tour Tinhorn and Hawthorn Mountain Wineries as well as Canada’s
Wine Capital the town of Oliver. This is the perfect Spring
or Fall Wine Festival Weekend !
Day 1 – 9am we pick you up at
your accommodation in Penticton, bike Chute Lake Trail section
of the Kettle Valley Railway/Trans-Canada Trail to Hillside
Estate Winery – 6 hours. We shuttle you from Hillside
Estate Winery at 3pm, traveling to the SS Sicamous for a
tour then again shuttle you to dinner in Penticton and then
to your accommodation at Gods Mountain Crest Chalet.
Day 2 – After breakfast at the
Chalet depart on a morning hike to view 1200 year old pictographs
on the 118 acres of Gods Mountain. Shuttle to Hawthorn Mountain
Winery then cycle 20 km along the back roads of the old
Fur Brigade Trail to the town of Oliver. Lunch at Tinhorn
Winery for Lunch with an optional; hike of an old mine site.
Shuttle back to accommodation.

on Day 1; Breakfast and Lunch are included on Day 2.
