The Historical Okanagan Waterway
A group travel experience designed for all
ages. Learn about the life of early explorers in Canada as
we paddle a 25 foot long Voyageur Canoe on Okanagan Lake.
The Voyageurs traveled through the wilderness on the great
lakes and rivers of Canada on a journey of trade and discovery.
Your guides Laurie and Jordie Bowen along with Joe Kyle will
share with us some of the early methods of survival faced
by pioneers. We will hike to the tomb of early pioneer Rambler
Paul at McKinley Landing looking over the spectacular view
of Okanagan Lake the domain of the ancient lake spirit Ogopogo.
This is a great day trip for any group wishing
to mix easy activity, with history and the natural world.
