OLD VERNON HERITAGE
WALK
Explore Historic Vernon and its many spectacular
murals which depict the rich history of the North Okanagan.
We will visit the museum, art galleries and unique gift shops
before we depart for Davison Orchards for a walking tour of
a working orchard and then a spectacular view of Okanagan
Lake. We then continue our journey along Old Kamloops Road,
once the old Fur Brigade Trail to the historic O’Keefe
Ranch. This historical tour of the ranch includes a walking
tour of the village and its re-enactments along with a visit
to Hunting Hawk Wine shop for a wine tasting. Our journey
continues along old Pleasant Valley Road and a view of Kalamalka
Lake and finishing with a visit to the Alan Brookes Nature
Centre.
This 5 hour interpretive tour includes wine
tasting, lunch, four Mural art prints, pick up, tour guide,
air conditioned van.
